SERVICES

As well as running Horsemanship and Jumping Clinics nationwide and working as a clinician at world class equestrian events, Amanda offers limited spaces for schooling and tuition at her lovely property in Taupo. These spaces are ideal for horses needing to further their education on the ground and under saddle or for horses who have behavioral issues.

BEHAVIOURAL ISSUES

Amanda specializes in horse behavioural issues and uncovering pain and training related problems. She offers a special two week diagnosis program, where she works closely with professional body workers, dentists and vets to help uncover the source of your horse's issues. Spaces are limited and cost $380 + gst per week. This includes all care, including body treatments.

HORSEMANSHIP CLINICS

Amanda's Horsemanship Clinics are very popular and involve a full day of learning, with the clinic starting at 9:30am till the afternoon. Riders bring their own horse and work under Amanda’s guidance through a range of body control movements on the ground and under saddle. She also teaches riders and owners how to pick up signs of stress in the horse and how to train them to become thoughtful, relaxed individuals, no matter what situation they are in. These clinics are $180 + ground fee per horse/rider combo, or $90 to watch as a spectator.

If you would like to host a clinic in your area, please contact Amanda at amanda@blackstonefarm.co.nz. There needs to be 10-15 horse and handler combinations to run one of these clinics.

JUMPING CLINICS

Her Jumping Clinics are also very popular, with many riders coming back year after year. Amanda is very focused on rider position, educating the horse better in the flatwork, encouraging soft hands, building confidence in both horse and rider, developing a better eye and more. These lessons are 1 hour long, run in groups of 3-4, and are $85 + ground fee.

If you would like to host a jumping clinic in your area, please contact Amanda at amanda@blackstonefarm.co.nz. Generally she teaches 6-8 hours a day, equalling 24-32 riders.
