First Time Having a Bath

When teaching a new skill, such as being washed for the first time, you should ideally keep the session short with as little pressure introduced as possible so that the horse is able to walk away from the experience with a positive association. If you overwhelm them in their first session, they are likely to develop a negative association to that stimuli, making it harder to progress in the future.
